ARRIVING BY CAR

From the centre of Lucca take the road for ABETONE following the
signs for the SS12, Brennero and leave the boundaries of Lucca.
After approximately 5 km you will pass by the town of Marlia and
see a large supermarket on your right hand side – ‘Esselunga’,
and in front of you a large roundabout. Enter the roundabout and
take the 2nd EXIT following signs for BORGO A MOZZANO. You will
cross a bridge taking you over the river Serchio. Now you will find
yourself on the road SP2 Lodovica. Continue for approximately 2
km passing under 4 tunnels. At the end of the 4th tunnel and after
600 metres, take the 1st road on your right that is signposted BORGO
A MOZZANO passing through the towns of Diecimo and also Borgo a
Mozzano. At the end of the latter you will encounter a roundabout.
Take the 2nd EXIT and follow in a northerly direction towards the
town of Barga. After 3 km you will find a bridge to your right,
signposted CALAVORNO/GHIVIZZANO/BARGA. Cross the bridge and immediately
turn left. After 1 km and a road sign for GHIVIZZANO you will see
Bar Cristina on the right hand side. Go 100 metres further on and
park on the right. You will find NICOCASA at No. 167.

remains on your right. Continue driving in the direction of BORGO
A MOZZANO passing through the town of Diecimo. Continue straight
ahead for 3km where you will see the signpost for BORGO A MOZZANO.
Immediately turn left heading towards the centre. You will pass
the post office and railway station to your right, the Carabinieri
office on your left and the Municipal office to your right. Follow
straight ahead on this narrow high street (Via Umberto I) for approximately
300 metres and take the 1st left going up a hill and sign posted
ONETA/CERRETO etc. After 50 metres, you will find a public car park
to your left and we can be found at No. 20 in front of you.

From the railway station of Lucca, Piazza Ricasoli, opposite the
gates of Porta San Pietro, take a train for the AULLA line, at a
time convenient to you. After a journey of around 30 minutes get
off at the station of Ghivizzano. Leave the station and walk straight
ahead for about 100 metres, in the main Piazza of Ghivizzano turn
right. Walk straight ahead on Viale Nazionale for around 200 metres.
You will pass the Church on your right hand side and after about
200 metres cross the road. NICOCASA can be found at No. 167 and
we look forward to seeing you.

From the railway station of Lucca, Piazza Ricasoli, opposite the

time convenient to you. After a journey of around 20 minutes get
off at the station of Borgo a Mozzano. Leave the station and from
the piazza turn right into Via Roma. You will pass the Carabinieri
station on your left and the Municipal office on your right hand
side. Walk straight ahead into the high street, via Umberto I for
around 300 metres and take the 1st road on your left. Walk up the
hill where you will see signposted the villages of ONETA/CERRETO
etc. After around 50 metres you will find No. 20 opposite you where
we will be pleased to meet you.
Alternatively, when you arrive at either of these stations, we can
collect you by car. |
